The Sunday Currently, Volume Twenty-Four

Image from touchbeauty.

My piano exam was over two days ago! ೕ(˃̵ᴗ˂̵ ๑) Somehow with all my exams recently, I have had to take a "just pass" attitude as work tends to get overwhelming as the exam nears. Managing 13 hour long work days for the past three weeks has also taken quite a toll.

WRITING... a long letter to a dear friend. Today's her birthday!

COMPOSING... posts from the Taiwan trip earlier this year! Looking back at photos, it has been a rather haphazard way of taking pictures, and it didn't help that I was not feeling too well >.> Can't wait to be back there again!

LISTENING... to Jayesslee! I miss hearing their covers.

READING... an old manga, Pokemon Adventures! I stopped reading it after the manga translator/publisher closed down, and I stopped buying the books. But I found it online, and so I am catching up on what I missed!

BOOKMARKING... a series of DIY box theatres! Really tiny, but I used to make the larger versions, and then have no space to display them OTL These are challenging, but so much fun to do!

PLANNING... on getting back into gear with my life! It's been a whirlwind juggling work, exams, and singing, but now that exams are over and work is slightly more manageable, I will try to get exercise, songs and language in again! 頑張れ,私!絶対,大丈夫だよ!

The Sunday Currently, Volume Twenty-Three

From ellyquence-tumblr.
It has been a hectic week, juggling a heavier workload while squeezing time to play the piano, sing and exercise. Well, exercise has been put on hold xD Meanwhile, I am watching my diet a little more strictly since there is no exercise to allow for additional calories.

Piano exam's in twelve days O.o Fighting! \\\(۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶////

LISTENING... to Bring Me The Night, by Sam Tsui and Kina Grannis~! I hope to attend a solo Kina Grannis concert one day~ one more singer to add to the list of the must-watch!

THINKING... of getting perfume lately. Bought L'occitane lavender fragrance spray for the home, totally loving it! Surprisingly more affordable than the chamomile one from The Body Shop.

WATCHING... dance videos from 1Million Dance Studio! I can only dream of being able move like them, but I still enjoy watching people dance! My current favourites are May J Lee and Lia Kim ~

PLAYING... Touken Ranbu (刀剣乱舞) Pocket ver.~! I had registered for an account on the website about a year ago, and left it at that just in case I ever got the motivation to play it xD Now that it's on my mobile, I am a little more motivated to play :P

FEELING... accomplished that I cleared out my cupboard ahead of my parcel's arrival~! It will arrive in a few days; I do hope that the clothes will fit! -prays hard-

DISLIKING... having to work on a weekend. (; ̄Д ̄)Weekends are meant for games, singing, learning new languages and more music. But putting in the effort now will ease the pressure later.

[Amaya Travels] Llangollen, Wales (Plas Newydd, Fizzywiggs, Cafe & Books)

This is the last post in the series for Llangollen, Wales~ I will start working on the Scotland pictures next~!

The years seem to pass more quickly than the previous; it's already March! Looking forward to getting my piano exam over and done with, and planning for the Japan trip!

Plas Newydd

Hill St, Llangollen LL20 8AW, United Kingdom

Had the honour of singing in the gardens, and subsequently, in one of the containers in this place! We had to take shelter because it started to rain soon after we began singing.

Such a pretty garden!

Plas Newydd is a historic house in the town of Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales, and was the home of the Ladies of Llangollen, Lady Eleanor Butler and Sarah Ponsonby, for nearly 50 years. Today, it is run as a museum by Denbighshire County Council. [Taken from Wikipedia.]

Of course, the need to visit some antique shops~!

Gwalia Terrace, Oak St, Llangollen LL20 8NS, United Kingdom

Tel: +44 1978 501788

We asked for the most sour sweet they had, and it really lived up to its name! My tongue was numb after just one sweet, and the shop lady said you couldn't eat too many at a time or you might end up with no more tastebuds for a while x.x

Found some interesting hairpins and trinkets in this place!

Pretty stores, and I bought some letter paper and pens to write thank you notes with!

Cafe and Books

17 Castle Street, Llangollen LL20 8NY, Wales

Tel: +44 1978 860334

The place houses a cafe on the first floor, and a bookshop on the second! I spent the most of my time in this cafe, having drinks and writing notes.
