[Review] Black Box -February Edition-

Sneak peek, from Black Box FB.

Black Box Singapore celebrates their one-year anniversary! For this edition of Black Box, you receive all the products listed on the information sheet, which is pretty nice, so it means everyone gets everything ^^

I was also really lucky to get this box via ballot. However, you can also secure your Black Box by paying a $6 courier fee.

Helpful list of products included with some basic information^^

I quite like the slimmer design though it makes the box harder to open.

Vouchers available as with every bi-monthly edition of Black Box (:

Skin/Hair Care Products

L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil
I have bought this before after seeing it on a Taiwanese show, and I find that the oil is very lightweight and keeps hair tangle-free for long periods of time.

NIVEA In-Shower Skin Conditioner
I took a long time to try this product out because I kept forgetting to bring it into the shower with me, and then actually using it LOL talk about habitual actions. A little skeptical about the effects since it's a wash-off conditioner, and it doesn't even say that you have wait minutes, just put on and wash off! Even so, I find that it helped dryer areas of skin such as the elbows and the knees.

Hee Eternity Hydro Gel Mask 24K Gold Syn-Ake
This mask has two parts to allow for better fit. The mask actually extended outside the sides of my face, something that wasn't very comfortable. But the gel texture was very comfortable. It's also the first mask that I know of, that you can put into hot water after the face treatment for an extra hands/feet treatment.

Ziaja Goat's Milk Body Lotion, Orange Butter Creamy Shower Soap, Natural Olive Body Butter, Marine Algae Deep Moisturizing Cream
I couldn't get the creamy shower soap to foam? ): Other than that, I liked the body lotion and moisturizing creams (:

Lifestyle Products

UNISOY Milk Powder & Darlie Expert Fresh Toothpaste

For the soy milk powders, it's important to read each instruction because they are different. While I was quite impressed with the nutritious soy milk powder because it dissolved really well and tasted good, the black soy milk took forever to dissolve and as a result, tasted quite bland because I couldn't get everything to dissolve. =\

You can check out 2013's July Edition and October Edition as well (:

[Personal] February updates~

Reading piles of articles to be able to write papers for my modules, and my final year thesis (which is worth three modules) is really quite taxing OTL Not to mention that I still need to find a job ;_;

Nevertheless, I try to make my life interesting!

Recently concluded a concert with guest conductor Maestro Werner Pfaff and artistic director Ms Ai Hooi Lim. Singing is a part of my life, and I'm grateful to be part of the ONE singing family (:

Psst. We're auditioning!!

Celebrated some birthdays of my clique at Poteato at Yong Siak!

Truffle fries are awesome!!

Herb Grilled Chicken

I have also been to Gyu-Kaku @ Anchorpoint to try out their lunch sets! Check out the review here!

[Review] But Becky Radiance Luminous Pearl Mask

Endorsed by Aaron Yan (炎亚纶), But, Becky is here to pamper you like a princess! But Becky has 5 types of masks for you to choose from:
- Vitality Soothing Lavender Mask
- Moist-lock Firming HA Mask
- Age-lock Moisturising Wild Yam Mask
- Pure & Whitening Job's Tears Mask
Radiance Luminous Pearl Mask

I will only be reviewing the last one today: Radiance Luminous Pearl Mask, which I got from The Sample Store.

Front and back of the packaging~

Product Features

- Contains Hydrolyzed Pearl Extract, Licorice Extract, Ginko Biloba Extract, L-Ascorbic Acid
- Rich in Vitamin A and C
- Special diamond, double-woven technique for increased absorption, elasticity and fit~
- Helps to soften and whiten skin complexion

I always liked that the mask extends to the neck area, and the ear hooks also take care of the skin behind the ears, which are often neglected in skincare routines. Does not feel sticky or sting.

Not exactly a con, but one mask doesn't produce visible effects, thus will require prolonged use over time to have a better judgement.

Currently, The Sample Store has a discount code that allows you to purchase the masks at 60% discount O:

From But Becky SG FB.

Find out more about But Becky:
Available on Secretive.sg for $14.90 per box (8 pieces)
